Access control for your home

Access control decides who comes through the gate, the stairwell door, or the apartment door. That can be a smart lock, a code, a fob, or opening from your phone. NextTek puts the gate, the intercom, and the doors in one system. Gate motors are on the gate automation page. The door phone is on the intercom page.

What you actually need day to day

You do not need everything at once. We start with the door you use most.

Smart lock

Lock and unlock from your phone, with a code, or with a fingerprint. Useful when a child or tenant is left without a key.

Code and fob

A code or fob in the stairwell is simpler than a key someone can copy. You can change the code when a tenant leaves.

One view of every door

The gate, intercom, and apartment door show events in one place. You see who came in, not three separate apps.

Put a code at the gate

A code works for a guest you expect. You change it when they stop coming. Nobody copies a key.

Keep a key for yourself

A smart lock is a convenience on a private door. In a stairwell the building decides, not one flat.

Join it with the intercom

Access and the intercom are one path to the door. NextTek fits them together so a guest does not ring twice.

What can be connected

Access is not just one lock. It makes sense when the gate, the stairs, and the apartment talk to each other.

Gate automation

Sliding and swing gates with photocells and phone control. More on the gate automation page.

Intercom

A call from the stairwell to your phone, with or without a camera. More on the intercom page.

A new system or the doors you have

Many homes already have a lock. You do not need a new door leaf if the mechanism fits the existing lock case.

New build

We plan cables at the gate and stairwell in the design, so the facade is not opened later.

Existing home

A new lock and a wireless link are often enough. Where there is no cable, we do not add one just because it looks more correct.

Estimate access costs

The calculator shows a rough cost. We prepare an exact quote after we see the site. Ranges on this page are not a formal offer.

Frequently asked questions

What is an access control system?
It is the way a door opens: key, code, fob, fingerprint, or phone. A home usually needs one or two of these, not an office turnstile.
Does a smart lock work without internet?
A key, code, and fingerprint usually still work if the internet drops. Opening remotely from the phone may fail until the link is back.
Can I keep a normal key?
Yes. A good smart lock still has a mechanical key. That is the backup when the phone is dead.
How safe is a code?
A code is convenient, but people share it. A fob or fingerprint cannot be texted. In a stairwell we change the code when residents change.
Does this work in an apartment building?
For the apartment door, yes. The stairwell door is common property, so the manager has to agree. The intercom is a separate job.
Do you also install gates and intercoms?
Yes. This page is the overview. Gate motors and building intercoms have their own pages, so each has its own price and questions.

Which doors do you want to control?

Tell us if it is a house, a flat, or a stairwell. We will help you choose a lock, a gate, or an intercom.
